It all started in September
of 1978 when five families met together at a home.
Shortly after, a building on Lake Street was purchased.
In 1984, land was purchased a few miles west of Delaware on
Rt. 36.
The building was dedicated
three years later, after much hard work on behalf of the
members who gave not only their money, but their time and
skills by doing most of the labor.
Today Delaware Christian
Church has an average weekly attendance of 500 and is
continuing to grow in the heart of Central Ohio.
